We've joined the UNCAC Coalition

24 November 2021

The Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation has joined the UNCAC Coalition, a global network committed to promoting the ratification, implementation and monitoring of the UN Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC).

UNCAC is the only binding anti-corruption mechanism globally, with 186 countries bound so far, unique in its worldwide coverage and extensive and detailed provisions. The UNCAC Coalition recognises that civil society organisations’ work to improve access to information, government transparency, and democratic governance is a crucial driver for change.

Established in August 2006, the Coalition mobilises civil society action for UNCAC at international, regional and national levels. Members of the global network include over 350 organisations in more than 100 countries. The Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation is the first organisation from Malta to join the network.
